Father's Day

Well got all my Father's Day cards out last week. So, we went to granny & papa Roark's for lunch. We had turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes, fried sqush, green beans, cranberry sauce, and dinner rolls. Yum Yum!!! It was good! Cindy and Kelly and Charlotte and John were all there. Once we ate Daryn was playing in the floor and Randy started to do an imperssion of Daffy Duck. Daryn thought that was the best thing yet. It was the first time he had giggled/laughed. Luckly I got it on camera. So I'll post the video once I get it downloaded. Then Randy took Cheryl to the lake and she FINALLY learned to ski. They were both pretty proud! While They were skiing Daryn and I went to wal-mart to get groceries. I was a little worried how that might turn out. But he was better than I could have imagined. He just babbled the whole time. We were there for a couple of hours. At one point I thought I heard him almost say mama. He has the "oma" part down. When Randy got home I told him and he didn't believe me. So, Randy started talking to him and once again Daryn said it again. Randy hurried back with a "NO DADA". It was quite funny. I just kept telling him, " I told you soo." He was in denile for sure but still had a big grin on his face.

So, today we're going to Thomas's funeral. We found out last Friday that he had hung himself. It was awful and it just broke mine and Randy's heart! He had worked with Randy part-time for about a year now. Though they weren't really close, Randy really liked Thomas and thought very highly of him. My he rest in peace.
