| From Muskogee BBQ & Chili Cook-off |
Well this past Friday night & Saturday I helped my work at the chili cook-off.
Friday night is just cooking and setting up everything and they had a couple of live bands going for the cooks to enjoy at the civic center. Never made it in there to check them out but heard they were great!
Saturday got there and went to work eating and serving. This time around we didn't buy as much meat and we ended up getting rid of just about everything. So overall everything went great. We missed out on most of the rain till the end when we were taking things down and had to wait it out a bit. But overall it was a great weekend and we didn't get too wet!
To make things even better we placed 4th in the chicken and 4th in the ribs. So that made everything worth while. I've posted a few pictures in the link to the left named BBQ & Chili Cook-Off.
I believe we'll all be ready to do it again next year! Hope to see ya'll there!
